(Yes, we do consider trades and we occasionally offer terms on horses/stud fees.)
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to the many advantages to both the mare and stallion owners, we have made it our policy to transport
semen ONLY and no longer bring outside mares to the farm for breeding. Transported semen gives mare
owners the opportunity to choose from a vast array of stallions from around the country, while allowing their
mares (often times with young nursing foals) to remain at home completely unstressed.
This modern means of breeding also prevents injury to the mare and the spread of disease.
All expenses involved with the actual collection of the transported semen are that of the mare owner and are not
refundable. We do our very best to keep the total costs to you at a minimum and they are usually considerably
less than those of breeding naturally at a farm. Our actual expenses that we must pass on to the mare owner
have generally been running less than $250.00 per shipment.
